Style & Skin Your Drop-Down List !

Hi All,

I am very new to vb.net. I have just started migrating from VB6 to
VB.net.

However I have a very basic query. I wanted to know if there is any
way I can style my drop downs. I mean not only the colors, or fonts,
the styles as well. How does the drop down arrow looks like. Does it
have to be rectangle only. I want them rounded. And lots of other
things. I am using xp and users of the application will also be using
the xp only.

I have installed a winxp theme, and I like that and I want that all
those design should be in vb.net or even vb6 application. Basically I
want to style my app according to me, give a skin to all controls in
my apps.

Let me give a link to the theme I want to import in my vb.net
application.

Try installing this theme and see how good a vb6 app looks. However I
cannot install theme on all the client computer. I know with new
vb.net this is possible.

Any suggestion or examples that can direct me to this.

And also with minimum 3rd party intervention, just using dotnet
framework. All client machines are as of now dotnet2 compatible.

Looking forward to replies on this.

Best Wishes
Lovely
